What is an iScript®?

An iScript is a professionally recorded audio version of a script or screenplay (or book, short story, thesis, annual report, etc.) read by professional readers, similar to an audiobook. iScripts can be listened to on MP3 players like iPods®, Blackberries® and iPhones® or on an audio CD.

Why should I get an iScript?

If you are serious about selling your screenplay or getting people to read your writing, there is no better tool to improve it and get it to the people that can make things happen.

A Short = 1-50 pages, and is $99
A Medium = 51-110 pages, and is $199
A Long = 111-150 pages, and is $249

There are amazing options available for your iScript, including multiple readers, text editing and proofreading. Those services are add-ons and cost as follows:

Additional readers are $100 for a Short Script, $125 for a Medium Script, and $175 for a Long Script.

Abridgement costs $50 for a Short Script, $100 for a Medium Script, and $150 for a Long Script

Pricing is based on the word count of your document. By entering that number into the pricing quote sheet, you'll get an estimate of how much it'll cost for your audiobook. If you're planning on selling your work via the iTunes Store, CD Baby, Audible or other services, you'll want to include Master Resale Rights.

By adding Master Resale Rights, you will own the finished product and it will include the cover art of your book (if you provide it) and ISBN (if you provide it).

iScript.com offers a tremendous service to writers and producers. The first step in taking advantage of what we offer is to create a free account, called a "MyiScript" page. Simply go to www.iscript.com and sign up, fill in your info and start uploading your work.
Your MyiScript page is your personal space. You can write a short bio, add a picture, your WGA number (if you have one). You also have the option of putting your profile to private.
Best of all, you can upload all your work. As you develop your projects and re-upload, your newest version will overwrite what you had previously saved for that entry. It's easy to keep track of your material and share it with others.
That's right, you can share your work with others by sending a link to your script via iScript, adding credibility to your submissions.
